What we collect, and why.

DERKONLINE is a software studio based in Accra, Ghana, run by Derrick S. K. Siawor. This policy covers derkonline.com and the tools on it: the contact form, the Design Studio, the on-page Concierge, and the security-audit teaser. If anything here is unclear, write to [email protected] and a person will answer.

We only collect what a feature needs to do its job:

• Contact and brief details. When you message us or submit a brief in the Design Studio, we receive your name, email, any company name or phone number you add, and what you write. That is so we can reply and scope the work.
• Design Studio prompts and previews. The descriptions you type to generate a design, and the preview that comes back, so we can build the real thing if you ask.
• Concierge chat. What you ask the on-page assistant and what it replies, kept so the conversation stays coherent and so we can make it more useful.
• The audit URL you enter. If you run the security-audit teaser, we receive the web address you submit so we can scan its public, surface-level signals. We do not log in, probe deeply, or attempt to break anything.
• Basic technical signals. Standard request data such as your IP address and browser type, used to keep the site secure and rate-limited against abuse. Our analytics is privacy-first and does not use tracking cookies that follow you around the web.

We do not ask for sensitive personal data, and we would rather you did not send any in a message or a prompt.

We use what you send to reply to you, to scope and deliver work you ask for, to keep the site secure, and to make these tools better. That is the whole list. We do not use your details to build advertising profiles, and we do not email you marketing you did not ask for.

The Design Studio and the Concierge are powered by AI. To generate a design or answer a question, your input is sent to a third-party model provider that produces the output, then returns it to us. In plain terms: what you type into those tools leaves our server to be processed by the model, and the result comes back.

We send only what the feature needs, and we choose providers that do not train their models on data sent through their business interfaces. Even so, treat anything you put into an AI tool here as something that leaves our systems to be processed, and avoid pasting in secrets or confidential material.

We do not sell your data, and we do not rent or trade it. We share it only with the service providers that run this site on our behalf, our email and hosting, and the AI model provider described above, and only to the extent they need it to do that job. They are bound to handle it for us, not for their own purposes. We may also disclose data where the law genuinely requires it.

We keep inquiries and briefs for as long as we are in conversation and for a reasonable period after, so we have a record of work discussed or delivered. Concierge transcripts and audit results are kept while they are useful and then cleared. Technical security logs are short-lived. When something no longer serves a purpose, we delete it.

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] from the address you contacted us with, and we will sort it out, normally within a few days. There is no form to fight through and no fee.
